Phenology Patterns and Postfire Vegetation Regeneration in the Chiquitania Region of Bolivia Using Sentinel-2

The natural regeneration of ecosystems impacted by fires is a high priority in Bolivia, and represents one the country’s greatest environmental challenges. With abundance spatial data access to improved technologies, it critical provide an effective method analysis evaluate changes land use face global need understand dynamics vegetation processes. In this context, we evaluated through phenological patterns measuring maximal minimal spectral thresholds at four fire-impacted sites Chiquitania 2019 2020, compared them with unburned areas using harmonic fitted values Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) Burn Ratio (NBR).
